Knitted Garden just opened in Gosport Gallery until May 17th

4th year of touring and it still looks great. Tim and I have just spent the last two days installing it at Gosport Gallery, Discovery Centre.

 

Lots of new additions to the knitted garden from the women of  Gosport including an stream extension to the pond complete with ducks arse!

Some new knitted muddy footprints!

 Great new scarecrow!

 Wellies, sack of potatoes - all new work.

 Wheelbarrow is a new addition too.

And lots of signage around the town means it will be busy.

Invitation to exhibit the knitted garden in Estonia

We have been invited to take the garden to Tallin in Estonia!

new dates for 2013

Blooming Marvelous – knitted garden

Do you remember the fabulous knitted garden made by 2000 wonderful residents of Bournemouth that adorned Bournemouth Library for 5 weeks in May and June 2011?

Well their knitted garden is still growing and touring the UK and has been on holiday to Durlston Country Park, Lighthouse Poole, Bridpot Arts Centre, a castle in Wales, and a museum in Halifax.

It is retuning to Dorset and will be on show at

·Beaminster Museum from Sat 16^th November to Saturday 23^nd           November

·Springhead, Fontnell Magna from Saturday 30^th Nov to Sunday           8^th December

In 2014 it will be at

·Gosport Art Gallery from 15^th March until 17^th May

·Arts Depot London 18^th July until 7^th Sept
